The Bill Gates Facebook page is funny.  My seemingly growing FB addiction is not.  It's part of the reason I wrote this weak-ass post.  Sheesh.
 

I recently got on Facebook, along with 150 million other morons.  Today, there have been a couple requests from friends for that 25 Random Things list.  Random crap about me.  I have a blog so I can post hundreds of random things about myself.  Here's a sampling:

1. I have a cast iron kettle, inherited from my grandparents, that I've moved with me three times to the tune of around six thousand miles.  It's almost three feet across, 2 feet tall, and weighs at least 200 pounds.
    
2. I've never owned a pair of leather pants, but I've worn leather pants on many occasions.
    
3. I owned my first home at the age of 23 but never rented an apartment until I was 36.
    
4. One night, when I was nineteen, I encountered a local weatherman whooping it up with his news buddies at a bar, did a couple shots with them, and got arrested for underage drinking an hour later.

How's that for random crap?  Here's a little more.
