A new year...and a new start

Someone once said that marriage is a triumph of love over fear...and second marriage is a triumph of hope over experience. On Christmas morning, I proposed to my Lady Friend, flanked by Poe and Poodle. So 2009 finds us in a happy home where experience has finally bowed to hope (not to mention a significant helping of love).

I guess that means I'm going to have to stop calling her my Lady Friend and come up with a more suitable moniker. I suppose Fiancee will suffice for now...
