Beer-Powered Stream of Consciousness

I went to a professional basketball game the other night for the first time ever.  I saw the Milwaukee Bucks take on the Miami Heat in an epic battle to see which team hated winning more.  As it turned out, it was the Bucks.  The locals are apparently tuned in to their colossal ineptitude, for they stayed away in droves.  I'm not saying the place was empty, but the announcer might as well have killed his mic and sat next to me for the play-by-play.

Today, some of my younger co-workers were singing the praises of cheap, frozen pizza.  Naturally, I had to drop some of my, uh, wisdom on them.

"The problem with Jack's pizza is that you open it up, and can't tell which parts to cook 'n eat, and which to throw away."

Oh, in case you were wondering, that quitting smoking thing seems to be working out.  I actually started again in late December, after my last post about the subject, but quit again in February, after I started taking Chantix.  Chantix (aside from some off-tha-hook dreams) really rocks.  It's been over 6 weeks since my last cigarette.  I've also gained about 10 pounds.

This is a really amazing video that shows you why our perceptions of beauty have become really skewed:  Dove, enhanced beauty

Oh yeah, I've updated the look of the site, too.  It's even more nauseatingly Web 2.0-ish.  Can ya dig(g) it?

The other day, I asked friend/co-worker Paul, "What do you call something that's really stupid and pointless and you can't help but watch it?"

His response: "The Internet."
